Serge Aurier questions the competition for his place as Tottenham’s right-back

Serge Aurier has contested the strength of competition because of his location despite leaving the club in the summertime.
A movement away did not materialise, although the Ivory Coast defender states he wanted out of Spurs and has been of interest to several clubs including Inter Milan.
Aurier and yet this year have not played with the club and founder Mauricio Pochettino has a plethora of chances in that position when everyone is fit – .
Despite the fact that there’s also centre-back Davinson Sanchez Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko and, more recently Kyle Walker-Peters and youngsters Juan Foyth are viewed as alternatives.
But talking to French-African broadcaster Bal des Productions, Aurier stated:”What competition? There isn’t any.
“I had just decided to leave [this summer], which was normal for me. Things were taken under account. In the end, I wasn’t able to leave.
“It reveals that the club hope me onto plenty of points. We are going to see how the season pans out, but for now, I’m here, the transfer window is closed and we need to concentrate on the campaign ahead.”
